I Corinthians 10:23
“Everything is permissable’ – but not everything is beneficial.”
I have began my “Made to Crave” Online Bible Study with Proverbs 31. After reading the introduction and chapter 1, I am so excited – I’m “Empowered”.
There was so many items that stood out in the first chapter. The main point to me was being saturated in God’s Word so when a craving attacks, you will have your fighting power.
The verse above is perfect for everyone of every age, young and old. Everything is permissable, however; the results could be good or bad.
We were made to crave, however, what we crave decides whether it is good or bad. Craving sinful things is bad but craving God is AWESOME.
My goal is to work daily on all my cravings. There are 3 different types of cravings. Their are cravings, lust of eyes, and boasting. I want my physical needs to be met in the will of God.
If you have not joined the “Made to Crave” Online Bible Study, please do. My previous post has the details.
Dear Lord. Thank you for making me to crave but I want to make sure I crave the things of You. I’m going to be “Empowered” to study and memorize the Word, so when the sinful cravings attack, I can attack back. Please be with those reading this so they may be Empowered as well. In your Precious Name, AMEN!
