1 Peter 5:7-8a
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert.
This is our verse for Week 2 in the Made to Crave Online Bible Study with Proverbs 31. It was an amazing first week and this week is a blast as well.
These 2 sentences are packed full of so much that should make us feel so warm and fuzzy when its cold and snowy outside.
Cast: Throw, Toss, Send,
All: EVERYTHING NOT SOME BUT EVERYTHING
Your: Jeanie (or you)
Anxiety: That is a small word for such bad stuff, concerns and evil things
On him: My Father, My Jesus Christ, My God
Because he care: He loves us, He died for us, We are His children
For you: Yes little ole me and you!
Be self-controlled: Very hard but I can do. Restraint or Control over something
And alert: Always on your guard, wide awake, open eyes
Of course, this is my Motto Verse this week and I think this year! This verse explains to me what to do with everything that is bothering me and how to fix it. I know sometimes its hard to do, so I plan on having to recite this maybe a 100 times a day if not a 1000.
I am so happy to know that Jesus will take all my cares and worries and hold them for me. He knows I can succeed if I will let them go and let him! (I think that was from a previous study.)
The Lord is in control of my life if I will let Him have the steering wheel and try to stop doing it all by myself. No matter what others may have said in my past, I am a success and I am a Child of God.
Dear Father, Thank you for always being there for me and allowing me to cast all my worries on you. You can carry them so much better than I . Dear Lord give me the self control to control the things I can and when to know that you are in control. Thank you for loving me no matter what I do or eat. Thank you for walking with me on this journey and sending all these ladies from abroad to pray and be with me. I pray for them as well as we journey together. In Your Name AMEN!
