It’s a New Day

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (MSG)

So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.

It’s a new day.  Yesterday is gone.  We can’t get it back.  So don’t sit and worry about it.

Today is here now.  Tomorrow…. that’s tomorrow.  Why worry about it today?  Let me get through today, then when tomorrow comes it will be today.

If you are someone who is not able to work, every day can become the same old thing.   And even for people who do work, every day is the same old thing.

But guess what.  If you have today, that’s GREAT!  God decided that you had another day.  God decided you were not through yet.  God decided He wanted you to have another day.

Don’t look at each day as another day.  Look at each day as a NEW DAY!

We can do whatever we want today!

Are you having another day or a NEW DAY.

Are you having another day or a new day

I’m as guilty as any to get in a rut and drudge through the day. But yesterday was a day full of suprises that could have only been orchestrated by God. I was chuckling to myself on the way home knowing that no man created the events of the day. Work is crazy hectic right now and I want to be off next week for Thanksgiving… but I am going to have a positive attitude about the day and I’m making it a NEW DAY. God is watching over me and I will get done what I need to get done. Loved the timing of your subject today on the blog. Happy NEW DAY to you!
