Surprise – It’s no Secret !

Surprise!

Surprise-2-600x600

You hear this word at parties, or even on television.  I remember Gomer Pyle used to say it and made the word famous in my opinion.

But I am so thankful for one thing.  God isn’t a surprise.  He may surprise you with what He does in your life, but He is not a surprise.

Usually when we say surprise, several people know what the surprise is, but a few or one may be in the dark.  With God, we can all know the surprise.  HE is always with us.  HE is always our friend.

If you know someone who does not know, you could begin the conversation of talking to them about God with telling them, “I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU!”

Bu the good thing is, their surprise and your surprise are the same.  We don’t have to worry about our bank account, our grades, our number of likes on a picture, our number of friends on Facebook, if we are married, if we have children.  All we know is we have someone who is ALWAYS there for us.

Like the song goes, It is no secret what God can do.  It’s one of my favorite songs.

Below is a link so you can listen to my surprise today, the song.

SURPRISE – THE SONG

Linking up with Kate Matoung and the #FiveMinuteFriday girls today to write for five minutes on the weekly word.

  1. hi jeanie:) i’m your next door neighbor at FMF. altho’ GOD is no surprise in many ways, i talked today about the pleasant ways He does surprise us. I’m always surprised by His goodness…always! and His grace. if we christians were able to show 1/2 of His goodness and grace to people around us that He has shown to us, there wouldn’t be nearly the negativity toward the church that there is today, i’m convinced!

but we are so concerned about being right or about justice for our point of view or…you name it!

thanks so much for your post today. i enjoyed it…and i enjoyed meeting you and reading your story. blessings as you deal with the adjustment to life with RA.
