The Parable of the King’s 10 Servants – Day 11

Verses containing the Parable:

Luke 19:11-27

Today it’s Day 11 #31DaysofWriting on the #31DaysofJesusParables, we are studying the Parable of the King’s 10 Servants in Luke. I know I’m a little behind, but life happens. I pray to catch up very soon.

This parable is very similar to the previous one, The Parable of the Loaned Money, except you can say this one is talking directly to us.

The man of noble birth could be considered Jesus.  He goes away and at a certain time He will come back. When He comes back, He will ask each of His servants what they have accomplished while He has been gone. Some will have much to show for their talents God gave but their will be some who never used the talents God gave them.

God has given each of His children talents. He has given some many and some few. All of the talents are important to help the Kingdom of God grow. You must find the talent God gave you and use it. He Gave it to you for a reason. You may not know why now but one day when He comes back we will all know then.

Do you want to hear “‘Well done, my good servant!’ from the Master one day?

Will you have more and take care of it to be given even more?
